Our house is situated in an attractive well established (thirteen years old) complex about ten minutes walk from the sea and about fifteen to the harbour.
Buses run from nearby stops to both the harbour and the old-town where there is a large market catering for both tourists and locals.
Within five minutes walk are a number of mini-markets selling newspapers, alcoholic and soft drinks, packaged goods and high quality fresh food - especially local fruit and vegetables.
Car hire companies are also in very easy reach.
The house is on a small complex featuring a very well maintained communal garden and a fresh water (from a local spring!) swimming pool.
We have our own small garden which has been planted with a wide range of local trees and plants including almond, lemon, nectarine, Indian Jasmine and various herbs.
Sun loungers are provided by the pool, but if you prefer we have our own and you can relax in the garden; possibly eating out. We have our own outdoor table and chairs, and in the evening the garden can be lit to extend the outdoor day!
As we spend much of our own time in the house it has been equipped to a far higher standard than most 'holiday homes'.The kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven, dish-washer and washing machine.
Hot water is provided by solar power, with an immersion if needed (not very often!).
In the winter there is a large log-burner (and supply of wood) whilst the summer is catered for by ceiling fans and air-conditioning in the living room and each bedroom.
Easy on, and off-road parking is available.
If required we can arrange your collection and delivery to and from the airport.
A local handy-man is available to sort out any problems which may arise in the house.
